Overview
Combining real-time strategy and battlefield tactics, R.U.S.E. is a game for thinkers, strategists and history buffs everywhere. Set in the final stages of World War II, R.U.S.E. follows both the occupation and resistance of Nazi Germany. Players experience the game through the eyes of Joseph Sheridan, a U.S. Army General tasked with sabotaging Hitler's efforts wherever he can. While only Sheridan/America is playable, other countries, including Italy, France and the Soviet Union, make appearances for both real historical events and fictional in-game complications. Unlike other war games, R.U.S.E. isn't an RPG or shoot-em-up. From spying on foreign troops to intercepting and decrypting enemy orders, the goal of the game is to out-think and out-wit the Nazis through a collection of tricks, traps and guerrilla tactics.
