To celebrate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' 25th anniversary, the team behind Super Smash Bros. has released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up. In this game, players battle their way through interactive environments such as a speeding train, sinking ship, burning building, and even on the back of a whale. Single player story mode, which was written with Peter Laird, the co-creator of the Teeneage Mutant Ninja Turtles, allows players to move through exciting levels as they unlock special side missions and collect shells to buy extra goodies. In online mode, the game can be played with up to 16 people. There are a variety of tournaments to choose from, giving players a chance to brawl against up against each other in four person battles until eventually someone comes out on top.
