Overview
MotorStorm Pacific Rift is a fun installment to the MotorStorm series. It's a racing game that plants players on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and you must traverse your vehicle through dense flora, thick mud and volcanic ash. This installment features a new vehicle class as well as a variety of features that improve upon the original installments. The tracks are categorized by element, including fire, earth, water and air zones. Each zone features a different terrain and collection of obstacles to maneuver through. As with previous games in the series, you'l also be treated to a variety of licensed music tracks as you race. This game seeks to stray away from the expanse desert found in previous titles by giving players a more lush environment. The surroundings will often come into play as each track features different events to shake things up.
