Monster Hunter Tri has a story line that combines prehistoric creatures, ancient civilizations and medieval kingdoms into one single world. In this title, humans and dinosaur like monsters coexist in a fantasy world full of beautiful landscapes and thriving cities. Players take the role of hunters that pursue monsters on the ground, underwater and even in the air. Some of the enemies are enormous in size and require tactical teamwork with other hunters. Monster Hunter Tri use an arsenal of classic weapons such as axes, swords, spears, clubs and crossbows. The simple weapons are also combined with different items collected on the way such as potions, mushrooms, herbs, bones, gems and much more. This role playing game requires making tactical decisions such as setting traps and applying decisions in real time when encountering gigantic creatures of an era long gone.
