Overview
Star Wars Battlefront II is a tactical first and third person shooter that was developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts. The game builds upon the gameplay and story developed in Star Wars Battlefront, adding new vehicles, playable classes, maps, and the ability to play as heroes from the six Star Wars movies, including many notable Jedi Knights like Luke and Anakin Skywalker, the Emperor, Darth Vader, and Mace Windu as well as characters including Han Solo and Boba Fett. Gameplay modes include Conquest, a game mode that revolves around annihilating the enemy and capturing territory, Assault, which involves destroying a target, Capture the Flag, and other game modes. Two time periods are available for play: the Galactic Civil War of the original trilogy and the Clone Wars of the prequel trilogy.
