Inspired by the original Carrier Command, which dates to the prehistoric 1980s, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission takes you to the remote world of Taurus, where two powerful alliances are locked in strategic combat. Commanding an armored ship, you sail the high seas of this watery world to build an archipelago of productive islands, which contribute resources to your developing armies. The game combines real-time strategy with first-person shooting, and allows the player to roam and fight through different geographical regions and varying climates. A unique feature is the ability to switch instantly between weapon modes; at one moment you're fighting from the air, and the next you're on the ground with an armored vehicle, hunting down enemy tanks. New weapons and enhancements are available that will give you the fighting edge against your opponent; at the same time, the successful player must manage ammunition, fuel and resources to maximize his chances of success.
