Overview
Thief is a reboot for the long-running series starring master thief Garrett. In this reimagining of the original Thief game, Garrett is a trained assassin who uses his skills to instead rob from the wealthy. Returning to his hometown after an absence of many years, he finds a highly stratified class system has developed under the rule of a brutal Baron. Garrett uses tools of his trade like a blackjack and grappling crossbow to sneak around guards and avoid direct confrontation while pilfering loot. A new "Focus" mode helps Garrett find points of interest and can slow down time temporarily to aid in picking pockets or escaping from the clutches of guards.
