Overview
Overwatch has a traditional first-person shooter game play in a futuristic setting that includes a fictional planet resembling earth. An Omnic Crisis threatens the existence of humanity as robots with artificial intelligence seize control. In response to this existential threat, an organization known as Overwatch is created. After diffusing the Omnic Crisis, this task force remains in place to ensure lasting peace and stability. The game modes essentially split players into two different teams that compete against each other for supreme reign. Reaper, Widowmaker, Winston, Mercy and Hanzo make up the eccentric lineup of characters that can be chosen for play. Powerful weapons that shoot laser beams and other explosive projectiles define the arsenal of these adventurous fighters in Overwatch.
