The jester Dhoulmagus has cursed the kingdom of Trodain. It's up to you to save the day in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King! Dhoulmagus has turned King Trode into a troll, Princess Medea into a horse and almost everyone else into plants. The only survivor is a royal guard. As this Hero, create a party that includes the King, the Princess, a Bandit, a Knights Templar and a Mage. Explore vast 3D landscapes and fight in 3D turn-based battles that feature shifting camera angles. Build up a character's tension between turns to make the next attack stronger! Combine items in the Alchemy Pot to create better weapons and tame monsters. Once you've gained enough experience, defeat Dhoulmagus!
