Overview
Chell awakens from a stasis that she was put in for 50 days by an announcer who she does not recognize. She is then instructed to perform not only a physical, but also exercises for mental wellness that are part of complying with state and federal regulations. Afterwards she is told to return to bed. However, she is awakened again later on and meets a man named Wheatley. Wheatley informs Chell that the reserve power inside of the facility she is in has been lost, and that she must prepare for a possible core meltdown in the reactor. Wheatley fears that he will be blamed for this incident and plans on escaping the facility. After he smashes through a wall, he tells Chell to find a gun that will make holes. The facility that she finds herself in is heavily damaged and overgrown, and while exploring it she accidently awakens GlaDOS, forcing her to embark on a journey of tests.
