In 1849, Chopin died at the age of 39. In the Eternal Sonata universe, a few hours before Chopin?s death he saw a completely different dream world that featured men and women with diseases that could not be cured and had various types of special powers. Music plays a tremendous part in the Eternal Sonata game. In fact, the game includes compositions that were written by Chopin. These musical pieces are performed by famous pianist Stanislav Bunin. Eternal Sonata gives players the chance to battle against their enemies with a hybrid battle system that combines action RPG battles with turn based battles. Players can also enjoy the game by using up to three different players during their battles. The battle strategy in Eternal Sonata will be based on whether the battles will be fought in the light or in the dark. The statistics of various monsters will change when they are in the dark.
