Overview
In Killzone 3, players continue the battle against the apparently indestructible Heighast Empire. Although the former vicious dictator of the Heighast, Visari, is dead, the war is far from over. Heighast forces have acquired more powerful weapons, and their battalions are mounting an overwhelming counter-attack against the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA). ISA forces realize they are outgunned, outmanned and surrounded. They are forced to evacuate the planet Heighan. Even worse, ISA leaders are confronting an insidious internal conflict within their own ranks that may turn out to be a serious weakness. ISA forces must now battle through treacherous jungles and frigid arctic environments to survive.
