Overview
The Stronghold Collection is a critically-praised castle simulator in which players travel through medieval Britain leading military buildup and economic development and defending against foes. In the beginning, the king who has fled his castle due to his army's defeat must rule his country from an undisclosed location. The objective of the game is to defeat against the barbarians trying to split up the kingdom's land and regain the king's power. The additional packs of the game allow the player to journey to the Middle East leading a group of Crusaders and battle in four historic campaigns. The Stronghold Crusader Extreme add-on game contains 20 new missions, buildings, and allows for larger armies. The Stronghold Legends add-on game allows the user to play as historic leaders such as King Arthur or Vlad Dracul, making for a new gameplay experience.
