Overview
The desperate conflict continues between the UN's Global Defense Initiative, which seeks to prevent the complete destruction planet due to contamination, and their enemy, Brotherhood of Nod, which is dedicated to using tiberium's energetic potential to usher in a new era for the human race. After 17 years, the Brotherhood has reemerged and dealt a critical blow to the GDI ability to fight. At the same time, a new alien force, known as the Scrin, seeks to control the tiberium deposits for their own ends. The GDI must quickly rally and defeat not only one foe, but two in order preserve the last remaining pockets of uncontaminated Earth that can support human life.
