Need for Speed: Underground 2 is the eighth installment in the popular street racing series. You can choose from 29 fully-customizable vehicles, including three new SUVs. Each car's performance can be improved by upgrading the engine, tires, brakes, suspension, transmission, and nitrous oxide system. Circuit, Drag, Drift, and Sprint racing modes return from the previous Need for Speed: Underground game, along with three new options: Street X, Underground Racing League, and OutRun. Street X pits you against up to three opponents on a tight track with no nitrous oxide at your disposal. The Underground Racing League conducts races on F1 or KART tracks instead of the street. OutRun mode allows you to challenge other drivers to impromptu races while free roaming around the city of Bayview.
