Former console rivals Mario and Sonic team up (along with their casts of friends and enemies) to take on the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Characters are rated in five statistical categories: power, acceleration, top speed, stamina and skill. They can also use many of their supernatural abilities. Pick a character or create a team and compete in a wide range of Olympic events - 100m hurdles, long jump, hammer throw, relay, discus toss, uneven bars, swimming, volleyball, fencing and cycling among many others. Players can compete or cooperate with others or play by themselves.
