Overview
Mao is the son of the netherworld's Overlord and has ambition to overthrow his father as revenge for having his gaming systems destroyed. Inspired by Super Hero manga, Mao seeks to become a Hero in an attempt to gain enough power to complete his plan. Mao must face off against Raspberyl, his childhood friend, who seeks to end his campaign. All of the freshmen at the Evil Academy turn against Mao forcing him to battle across the school. Disgaea 3 is a tactical role playing game featuring turn based battles, custom magic spells, item hunting, and fully upgradable character abilities. The player controls Mao and his war party through isometric maps with interactive environments. A new feature, MagiChange, allows players to transform certain monsters into large, unique, and powerful weapons of combat. Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention offers players over 50 hours of gameplay and a rich storyline.
