Curse of the Great Curry God is a humorous dungeon-crawl rpg with an anime style. The plot concerns a young student sorceress who needs to save her local curry shop from a new chain curry shop that has moved in. Armed with a book of magical curry recipes, she and her friends go on an adventure to create the ultimate curry. The game itself is a rouge-like where players delve through a series of randomly-generated dungeons, gathering items and ingredients and leveling up their characters. However, if the player dies, there are severe consequences as they lose all of their items and levels. Strategy becomes important because avoiding death is key (although the story does continue and there are ways to mitigate or recover from these losses).
