The sequel to Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2 is designed to feature the same hack-and-slash gameplay that fans enjoyed from its predecessor. Developed by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo, this game will be exclusive to the Wii U, despite the fact that the earlier game in the series was exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Bayonetta 2 is expected to have a multiplayer mode as well as Off-TV Play support and a touch control scheme for the controller. Currently, there has not been too much information released about the upcoming game, though a development video was shown during the Nintendo Wii U Direct of January 2013. The only other glimpse of Bayonetta 2 that has been seen since then is a demo of the game that could be played by developers at the E3 conference of 2013.
