Sacred 3 is a sequel to the Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. As a traditional role playing game, Sacred 3 combines elements of high fantasy with mythical features inspired by Medieval Europe. The story line of this game revolves around Ancaria and the Ashen Empire. An uprising against the leader Lord Zane defines the missions of Sacred 3. Throughout the game, players choose heroic characters such as Seraphim, Safiri and Malakhim. The hack and slash style game play allows intense battles featuring traditional weapons like swords and shields. The protagonists take on factions of enemies that include mythical beasts, hybrid subhuman monsters, wizards, witches and human mercenaries.
