Episodes from Liberty City packages together two of Grand Theft Auto IV's expansion episodes - The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned. Though Grand Theft Auto IV is not required to play either game, these expansions add new vehicles, weapons and features to the main game. Both games return players to the streets of Liberty City. The Ballad of Gay Tony follows Luis Fernando Lopez, bodyguard of a Dominican drug dealer who must protect his employer and his nightclubs from encroachment by the Russian mob. The Lost and the Damned puts players in the shoes of Johnny Klebitz, an outlaw motorcycle gang leader who must deal with a split in the ranks of his club. This expansion also introduces six new multiplayer modes.
