Overview
This racing game features over 80 licensed cars by Japanese makers and several different modes of play, including Quick Race, Time Attack, Versus, Drift mode and a Championship series. The Drift Challenges utilize combos of drifting slides around the corners, scoring bonus points for racers as they negotiate the track. Versus mode provides racing for up to four separate players. There are several classes of racing in Championship mode, allowing a player to work up through several racing classes to reach the fabled Pro GT Series. Each class championship is based on a selection of three tracks from the 10 available tracks and their mirrored doubles. An advanced physics model makes for realistic handling; each car features 11 different tunable components, allowing players to customize cars to suit their preferences. The artwork is in a unique cel-shaded style that is similar to high-end graphic novels.
