By deciding what types of technologies to research and construct, an endless stream of possibilities will allow you to evolve your society on a whim. Is your civilization led by a monarchy? Or will your people rule themselves in a democracy? Will your nation adopt peace, or will it attempt to conquer the world? One can even leave the world behind, and attempt to send a ship to the Alpha Centauri system light years away. Numerous paths to victory are available, and only you can decide which to take!
