Overview
Similar to Scrabble, Bookworm gives players a chance to spell simple words along with the challenge to create complex words using valuable letters. Lex, the green worm, has a voracious appetite as he searches tile blocks in a quest to not only build words but to achieve the highest scores and even higher game levels. A successful puzzle completion also means that Lex can combat his enemies through the strategic use of colored letter tiles that are green, diamond, gold or sapphire. In addition, red tiles appear, which must be used in a word or discarded. Once red tiles reach the bottom row, they are set afire to burn down the entire library, which ends the game. Helpful tips appear along the way, and two game modes, Action and Classic, provide choices for both beginning and more advanced spellers.
