Step into the exciting world of international racing, playing as hotshot racer Lightning McQueen, lovable tow truck Mater or one of about 20 other characters, including new characters Holley Shiftwell and Finn McMissile. You can try your skills at a variety of car tricks, from driving on two wheels to driving backwards, either on the race tracks or in a variety of other environments, complete with many obstacles. In addition to the races, the game has a strong spy component to it as well, which means lots of complex gadgets and plenty of adversaries to defeat. Players can engage in a number of missions either on their own or in conjunction with friends on multi-player mode, and they can test out their speed and skill by racing each other on any of the picturesque tracks the game has to offer.
