Players take on the role of a world-famous and brilliant private investigator as they travel to the beautiful city of San Francisco to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fortune of gold worth $250 million. Players travel through the streets and alleys of San Francisco, searching for over 2,100 objects that have been carefully hidden throughout 25 stages. Famous San Francisco locations include Alcatraz and Chinatown, each location offering its own set of challenges. At each location, players have to find all of the objects hidden in the scene to progress but they also have to find one particular clue that advances them to the next level. Players can unlock an unlimited seek-and-find play mode if they are able to find all of the keys and peace symbols hidden throughout the game. A reward of $20 million is at stake for the P.I., promised only if the treasure is returned to its owner in less than 17 hours.
