In a game made for professional and home cooks alike, Cooking Mama: Cook Off pits two players against one another in various cooking challenges designed to keep players' minds busy and hone their cooking skills. Recipes from ten other countries are realistic and respond vividly to players' motions. Food can be chopped, rolled, and sliced as the recipes progress. Players work side-by-side with Mama as she instructs them on how to prepare her masterpieces. Over 55 recipes make up the cooking selection, coming from countries like France, Japan, Mexico, and Italy. Real-time graphics keep the cooking sensations alive; spend too much time on one part and the food starts burning in the pan! At the end of every recipe, Mama taste tests the food and awards the players for their efforts, giving out gold, silver, and bronze medals based on the quality of their cooking.
