Overview
In Pokemon SoulSilver Version, as a Pokemon trainer, you can earn gym badges and tower badges as you explore the Johto region. Of course, along the way, you can interact with hundreds of different types of Pokemon, so you will never be alone throughout your journey. Once you've collected all eight badges from each of the Johto gym leaders, you will face Johto's Elite Four and the leader of the Elite Four. However, unlike for most Pokemon games, the main story adventure doesn't end there. Once you've defeated the Pokemon League Champion, you will head to Kanto to take on eight more gym leaders and collect eight more badges for a total of sixteen badges. If the main story doesn't interest you that much, you can use the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service to trade Pokemon, or to battle with other Pokemon trainers.
