Overview
Players of the long-lived series will notice that the mechanics have only slowly evolved over the years without ever fully changing. You begin as a young boy about to set off on an adventure in which he must gather information on the playful creatures by catching them. Each captured critter will successfully grant the player access to a new pokedex entry, the game's version of a bestiary. As with each succeeding generation of Pokemon games, a generous number of new pokemon, abilities, and attacks are added in order to bolster the player's self-constructed team of champs. In this new adventure, you'll explore the Sinnoh region and bring swift justice to the evil Team Galactic, all while battling gym leaders for badges that prove you're worth of Victory Road, and the ultimate confrontation with the powerful Elite Four and current champion.
