From the makers of Guitar Hero comes DJ Hero, the first next generation platform DJ simulation game. Using the special DJ turntable controller (sold separately), players spin and crossfade across 93 unique mixes and mashups comprised of an extensive library of songs. The mixes in DJ Hero combine a wide variety of musical genres, including modern electronica and rock, hip-hop classics, and even early funk and R&B hits from artists such as Daft Punk, Weezer, Afrika Bambaataa, and Rick James. Players will be able to unlock new outfits, songs, virtual turntables, and even playable celebrity avatars of popular artists like Daft Punk, Grandmaster Flash, and DJ Shadow. Also available are competitive and co-operative multiplayer modes, in which two DJs battle head to head, or one player uses a Guitar Hero controller to rock out alongside a DJ to select mixes.
