Fallout 3 allows you to explore Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas in a monumental adventure following a character who has been forced to flee from the safety of a vault he has always called home. In the outside world, he'll need to fend for himself or find trusted allies to help him along. Unlike other open-world RPGs released by the same team, Fallout 3 allows you the opportunity to stop the flow of time and annihilate your enemies with targeted attacks, striking various body parts. This adds a bit of strategy to the usual chaos of real-time battle, and allows you to take a breath when needed. Players will recognize the character creation system that allows them to funnel points into desired stats, and decide how they will ultimately play the game and strike fear into their adversaries.
