Overview
Okami, which means wolf in Japanese, follows the exploits of the main character, a sun god who comes to earth assuming the shape of a wolf. Using the supernatural abilities possessed by the sun god as a wolf, the player must restore life to earth by defeating evil beasts. Progress is incremental, with each victory over a foe restoring color, life force and ultimately people to the planet. The game art is beautifully rendered in traditional Japanese calligraphy art style.
