Overview
Pokemon Platinum involves the three legendary Pokemon of the Sinnoh region. While your goal, as a Pokemon trainer, is to train Pokemon and collect the eight Sinnoh gym badges, you also take up the task of stopping Team Galactic from getting their hands of Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Once you've gone through the new Distortion World, where the regular rules of time and space don't apply, and saved the Sinnoh region from Team Galactic, you will then take on the Elite Four and the Pokemon Champion of Sinnoh. Once you've defeated them, you can spend the rest of your time exploring Sinnoh and competing at the five new Battle Facilities at the Battle Frontier. You can hang out in the Wi-Fi Plaza or use Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection service to trade and battle Pokemon once you've exhausted everything the main story has to offer.
