Rayman 3D is Nintendo's adaptation of audience favorite Rayman 2 for Dreamcast. With 13 diverse regions and 45 game areas spread over them, this game contains around 15 hours of play time. Character movements are action packed and include flying, jumping, running, water skiing, and swimming. The mechanics of the game are greatly improved with high quality graphics and 3D. Ubisoft has filled Rayman 3D with villains to battle, including a horde of mechanical pirates and their leader, the dreaded Razorbeard. Throughout his journey, Rayman must free enslaved creatures and gather Lums, magical fragments, as well as collect the four masks to summon a god that will aid Rayman in defeating the pirates. Both a trip into nostalgia and a strong introduction for new players, Rayman 3D offers a new and exciting twist on an old classic with optimized gameplay.
