The 3DS entry of the long-running Madden football series brings the gridiron action to a portable form. This version retains the ability to play standard 11-on-11 games and play through a season with your favorite team, but also adds a faster 5-on-5 mode with a simpler ruleset for a more portable-friendly mode of play. Players can also improvise routes for their receivers using the new "Call Your Shots" feature. The game offers the option of 3D graphics, but does not have any multiplayer mode.
