Overview
The Strogg home planet in Quake 4 needs to be saved and maintained. It is up to the player to use the advanced weaponry to battle enemies and take them out. This doesn't have to be taken though. A team of elite marines are available to assist when needed. The main character takes every battle to heart, so this means that the player has to fight hard every time. Maintaining Strogg is the earth's only hope for survival. The strategical tactics used by the player are the only way to ensure that the earth doesn't get destroyed. Essentially, the player has to do what they don't want to do, become one of the enemy. This is the only way to make survival possible. The marines understand what is going on and use their vehicles and weapons, along with precise skill, to aid in the mission's success.
