Overview
Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and composer Nobuo Uematsu return to the RPG field with Blue Dragon, which is also illustrated by longtime Dragon Quest artist Akira Toriyama. Blue Dragon returns to the turn-based combat of classic console RPGs, as players explore a fantasy world threatened by the periodic appearance of mysterious purple clouds that bring devastating monster attacks with them. Characters equip "shadows" that level up and gain new attacks and powers as the game progresses.
