Overview
The ninth entry in Nintendo's popular party game series has Mario, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi and friends returning for another round of mini-games. Playing somewhat like a board game, players roll dice in order to move around a series of boards. Squares that players land on can have a range of effects, such as granting bonus rolls or impeding other players. The real action begins when you land on a mini-game square. 44 different types of mini-games are included, ranging from fast action to puzzle solving. Players can compete to collect the most stars, or play a "story mode" in which they team up to defeat the evil Bowser and Bowser Jr. who are plotting to suck all the stars from the sky.
