Dungeon Siege III is a fast-paced action role-playing game created by Obsidian Entertainment. It is the first game in the series to be published by Square Enix, who acquired it from Gas Powered Games. This new take on the series brings a fresh combat system that leverages the unique abilities of each character in the game. This latest installment returns players to the Kingdom of Ehb, where the original game took place. About 150 years after the events of the original game, the 10th legion has been all but destroyed. Only a small group of loyal soldiers remain. They work to rebuild the legion to its former glory. The player starts as a mercenary hired by the legion to discover what caused their downfall and is soon drawn into fight to protect the Queen, the kingdom, and the whole world.
