This entry in EA's venerable NHL series of sports games is sure to keep hockey fans satiated the whole year round. With a host of improvements over last year's game - not least the TV-perfect graphics and more realistic skating physics - NHL 13 is the closest you'll get to being on the ice yourself. The new GM connected mode allows up to thirty players to take part in an online league, with each player managing and playing as their own team in an attempt to prove their supremacy. And, if you're really serious about coming out on top, a mobile app is available to take care of your coaching duties whilst on the move. As well as GM connected, there are of course a host of single player modes as well as online exhibition matches.
