Overview
The fourth entry in the Call of Duty series is the first to move to a modern setting, dropping players into hot zones in the Middle East and Russia. In the story campaign, players alternate between controlling members of the British SAS and the U.S. Marines as they combat the forces of a Middle Eastern dictator and a nationalist faction seeking to take control of the Russian government. Multiplayer features both free-for-all deathmatch and cooperative team modes of play, and players gain experience points which can be used to increase their rank and to unlock new weapons, abilities and features.
